Digital Marketing for
Clinics and Medical Practices

A patient in pain searches tonight and books tomorrow. A patient considering a procedure reads for three weeks, compares clinics, looks up the doctor by name and asks people they trust. Your practice needs to be convincing in both situations.

Your reality

How patients actually choose a clinic.

Healthcare has two completely different patients arriving through the same website, and most clinic sites are built for neither.

01

They search the symptom, not your specialty

Patients do not type odontología or medicina estética. They type dolor de muela, no puedo dormir, manchas en la piel, or the name of the procedure a friend mentioned. Pages organised around clinical categories miss all of it. Pages that name the problem in the patient's words are the ones that get found, and they are also the ones that reassure.

02

They are choosing a person, not a building

Before a consultation, patients look up the doctor by name. They want to see qualifications, where you trained, how long you have practised and what you look like. A clinic site with no named professionals asks somebody to hand over their health to an anonymous institution. Individual profiles are the highest-impact change most practices can make.

03

Reviews are read as evidence

In healthcare a review is not a restaurant rating, it is testimony from somebody who was in the same situation. Patients read the recent ones and pay attention to whether the clinic replies. Replying is possible without ever confirming that a person was a patient, and doing it carefully matters more here than in any other industry.

04

Some of your patients are not in the country

Dental work, aesthetics, surgery and fertility treatment draw patients who travel, and in expat markets a share of local patients search in English. Those enquiries arrive earlier, ask more questions and book further ahead. If everything you publish exists in one language, that demand goes to a competitor who published in two.

What goes wrong

The four mistakes we see most in healthcare.

The first three cost you patients. The fourth can cost you considerably more than that.

01

One page listing every service

Implants, orthodontics, whitening, root canals and cleanings in a single list ranks for none of them and answers nobody's question. Each procedure is a different patient with a different worry, usually about pain, cost or recovery. Each one deserves a page that addresses those three things directly.

02

The professionals are invisible

No names, no photographs, no qualifications, sometimes not even how many doctors work there. Patients researching a procedure will look for the surgeon or the specialist by name, and finding nothing pushes them to the clinic that published a proper profile. This is the most common gap we find and the easiest to close.

03

Booking that only works during office hours

A great deal of health searching happens at night, when the pain is worse and the worry is louder. If the only way to reach you is a phone line that opens at eight, you lose the patient to whoever accepted a WhatsApp message at eleven. An appointment request that can be sent at any hour is worth more than most campaigns.

04

Promising results

Guaranteed outcomes, dramatic comparisons used as advertising, testimonials that read as clinical claims. Beyond the regulatory exposure, which varies by country and is real, this is the language patients have learned to distrust. Describing the procedure honestly, including what it cannot do and who is not a candidate, converts better and is defensible.

What we would start with

For a clinic, in this order.

Healthcare rewards being present at the moment of need and credible during the research that follows, so the work splits between those two jobs.

1 · SEO local

The Google Business Profile treated properly, with correct hours, the right categories, photographs of the actual clinic and reviews answered. Then a page for each procedure, written for the patient searching that symptom. This is what puts you in front of the person deciding tonight.

How we do SEO →

2 · Diseño Web

Profiles for each professional with real qualifications, a page per procedure that answers pain, cost and recovery honestly, and an appointment request that works at midnight on a phone. For clinics drawing patients from abroad, the same content properly in English.

How we build sites →

3 · Redes Sociales

For aesthetics, dermatology and dentistry this moves up the list, because patients follow a clinic for months before booking. The content that works is the doctor explaining things calmly rather than promotional posting, and everything published has to respect patient consent and the rules that apply to you.

How we run social →

4 · Google Ads

Worth running on the procedures with the highest value to you rather than across everything you offer. Health advertising carries platform restrictions and country rules, so campaigns are built to comply rather than to test what gets through. Where the numbers do not justify it, we say so.

How we run ads →

Worth moving on early

AEO · being the answer when somebody asks

People describe symptoms to an assistant before they search for a clinic, and they ask directly for recommendations: a good dentist nearby, a dermatologist who speaks English, what a procedure involves. The reply names two or three practices.

Being named means your services, your professionals and your credentials are structured so an assistant can read and cite them. In healthcare, where being recommended has always mattered more than being advertised, this is a natural fit.

What changes

What working looks like for you.

These are the things we report on, because they are the things we control. We do not promise patient numbers or clinical outcomes, and you should be wary of anybody who does.

01

You appear for the procedures you want

Rankings by procedure rather than one figure for the clinic, plus your position in the map results where local patients decide. That tells you whether implants are climbing while general dentistry sits still.

02

Appointment requests are counted, not guessed

WhatsApp clicks, calls from the profile, form submissions and booking clicks, tracked so you can see which procedures and which pages produce them.

03

More of your visitors get in touch

Named professionals, honest procedure pages and a booking path that works after hours change how many existing visitors contact you. Measurable from the week the site goes live, before new traffic arrives.

04

Your reputation is managed rather than watched

Reviews arriving steadily and being answered properly, within the limits of patient confidentiality. In healthcare this is reported as carefully as rankings, because it moves both trust and visibility.

Get a market snapshot for your clinic

Before any talk of scope or price, we will pull what patients in your city search for in your specialty, procedure by procedure, roughly how many of them there are each month, who currently holds those positions, and where the realistic gap is. Written up and sent to you. No charge.

Where we deliver

Healthcare, in your market.

A clinic in Panama City is found by local patients and by an expat community searching in English. A clinic in Medellín competes in one of the region's strongest markets for aesthetics and dentistry, with patients who often begin their research from another country. Campaigns are built for the market you actually treat in.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are we allowed to advertise medical services?▾
Rules differ by country, by health authority and sometimes by specialty, and the advertising platforms add their own restrictions on top. We build campaigns to comply rather than to see what gets approved, and where something is uncertain we will ask you to confirm with your professional body before it is published. Informational content explaining procedures is rarely restricted anywhere.
Should we publish before and after photographs?▾
Only with documented patient consent, and only where the rules that apply to you permit it. Some countries restrict this heavily for medical and aesthetic procedures. Where it is allowed and consented, it is powerful. Where it is not, explaining the procedure, the recovery and who is not a good candidate does more for trust than an image would.
How do we handle reviews without breaching confidentiality?▾
Carefully, and it is entirely possible. You reply without confirming that the person was treated, without discussing any clinical detail, thanking them for the feedback and offering to continue privately. That protects the patient and still shows every future reader that the clinic is attentive. Never respond to a negative review by describing the case.
We are a small specialty practice. Is there enough search volume?▾
Often yes, and the volume matters less than you would think. A specialist procedure searched two hundred times a month in your city, where each patient is worth what those patients are worth, is a better target than a common term with ten times the traffic and no intent. We show you the numbers for your specific procedures first.
Do we need our site in English too?▾
If you treat expat patients or people who travel for treatment, usually yes, and those patients tend to research earlier and book further ahead. We check the real split for your specialty in your city rather than assuming. For a neighbourhood family practice it may be unnecessary.
Our patients book through WhatsApp. Is that a problem?▾
Not at all, it is how this region books appointments and fighting it would be foolish. What we do is make sure the button is easy to find on every page, that the click is tracked so you can see which pages produce requests, and that somebody is actually monitoring it. An unanswered WhatsApp is a lost patient.
How long before I see results?▾
A properly configured Google Business Profile can change how often you appear within weeks. A site with named professionals and honest procedure pages changes conversion as soon as it is live. Search rankings take weeks to months depending on the procedure and your city. High-value procedures also carry a longer decision period on the patient's side.
Who would I actually be working with?▾
Aylin Benítez, directly, from the first conversation through to the monthly reviews. She responds personally in 2 business days or less and works in Spanish or English. Delivery is handled by the specialist teams behind Media Saga, so you are not passed to a junior once the contract is signed.

Co-Founder

Aylin spent her career in marketing and in enterprise marketing software sales, working with major brands and companies throughout Latin America. She has sat across the table from marketing directors defending a budget and reporting results upward, which means she already knows what a plan has to look like before anyone can say yes to it.

That is why a first conversation with her feels closer to a diagnosis than a pitch. She will want to know which procedures you want more of, where your patients find you today, and what you have already tried. Then she will tell you which of the five services would change things fastest, including when the answer is that you do not need all of them.

She works in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer, and inside your business hours. She handles your account herself from that first message through to the monthly reviews, so nobody hands you to a junior once the contract is signed.
