Digital Marketing for
Auto Repair Shops and Dealerships

A driver whose car will not start searches from the roadside and chooses within the hour. A buyer planning their next car researches for months, compares dealers and asks everyone they know. Your business needs to win both, in an industry where customers arrive expecting to be overcharged.

Your reality

How drivers actually choose where their car goes.

Automotive carries a trust problem no other industry on this site has. The businesses that acknowledge it openly are the ones that win from it.

01

They search the symptom, not the repair

Drivers do not type diagnóstico electrónico or servicio de suspensión. They type mi carro no arranca, ruido al frenar, se prendió una luz en el tablero, or the thing a friend told them it might be. Pages organised around your service menu miss all of it. Pages that name the symptom in the driver's words are the ones that get found, and they calm the person reading them.

02

They assume they will be overcharged

Surveys in every country put vehicle repair among the least trusted purchases people make, because the customer cannot verify the diagnosis or the price. You did not create that problem, but you inherit it with every visitor. The strongest signal available to you is published pricing, even as honest ranges, with a plain explanation of what moves the number. Almost nobody in your city does it.

03

Reviews are read as a lie detector

In this industry a review is not read for atmosphere. Customers scan for one thing: was the final bill what was quoted, and did the shop explain before charging. A steady flow of recent reviews that mention honesty, answered properly by the owner, outperforms any slogan you could write about integrity. It is evidence, and evidence is what a distrustful buyer is looking for.

04

The purchase customer is a different person

A dealership buyer or a customer planning detailing, customization or scheduled maintenance researches for weeks. They compare inventory and financing, look up the business by name and read everything before ever visiting. That research happens online, months before anyone walks onto your lot, and the business with current inventory and answered questions is the one still standing when the shortlist gets made.

What goes wrong

The four mistakes we see most in automotive.

Each one hands customers to the workshop or dealer next door, and each one is fixable.

01

No prices anywhere

In an industry customers already distrust, silence about cost reads as an intention to decide the price after looking at the car. Publishing ranges for common jobs, an oil change, a brake service, an A/C recharge, loses you nobody worth having and wins the customer comparing three workshops from their phone. It is the single strongest trust signal in this vertical and the rarest.

02

One page listing every service

Frenos, transmisión, aire acondicionado, suspensión and hojalatería in a single list ranks for none of them. Each repair is a different customer with a different urgency and a different fear about cost. Each one you actually want more of deserves a page that names the symptom, explains the job and states the range.

03

A map profile left to rot

Urgent repairs are decided in the map results, by a driver standing next to a car that will not move. Wrong hours, no photographs of the actual workshop, categories missing and reviews unanswered all push that driver to the next pin. For a repair business the Google profile is the storefront, and most in the region are abandoned.

04

Leaving WhatsApp photos hanging

A customer who sends a photo of the dent or the dashboard light is sending it to three shops at once. The first straight answer usually gets the car. An unmonitored WhatsApp loses jobs every single day, quietly, and no campaign can outspend a channel where the enquiries arrive and nobody replies.

What we would start with

For an automotive business, in this order.

Automotive is won at the moment of breakdown and during the slow research before a purchase, so the work starts where the urgency is.

1 · SEO local

The Google Business Profile treated as the storefront it is, with correct hours, the right service categories, photographs of the real workshop and reviews answered. Then a page for each repair you want more of, written for the symptom the driver types. This is what puts you in front of the person choosing within the hour.

How we do SEO →

2 · Diseño Web

A page per service with honest price ranges and photographs of real work, a WhatsApp path that is impossible to miss, and for dealerships an inventory that is actually current. Built for a visitor who arrives suspicious, because in this industry that is who arrives.

How we build sites →

3 · Google Ads

Worth running on the searches with immediate intent, grúa, batería a domicilio, llanta ponchada, and on the high-value jobs you want more of. Measured by cost per contact, not clicks, and where the numbers do not justify a campaign for your market, we say so before you spend.

How we run ads →

4 · Redes Sociales

For detailing, customization and dealerships this moves up the list, because the work photographs well and buyers follow for weeks before spending. For a repair shop it is trust maintenance rather than a lead engine, and we will tell you honestly which of the two your business is.

Worth moving on early

AEO · being the answer when somebody asks

Drivers describe the noise or the warning light to an assistant before they search for a workshop, and they ask directly: a trustworthy mechanic nearby, roughly what a brake job should cost, whether a used model has known problems. The reply names two or three businesses.

Being named means your services, your prices and your reviews are structured so an assistant can read and cite them. In an industry where being vouched for has always mattered more than being advertised, this is a natural fit.

What changes

What working looks like for you.

These are the things we report on, because they are the things we control. We do not promise a number of cars through the door, and you should be wary of anybody who does.

01

You appear for the jobs you want

Rankings by repair rather than one figure for the business, plus your position in the map results where the urgent customer decides. That tells you whether transmisiones is climbing while cambio de aceite sits still.

02

Enquiries are counted, not guessed

WhatsApp clicks, calls from the profile, direction requests and form submissions, tracked so you can see which repairs and which pages produce them.

03

More of your visitors get in touch

Published ranges, honest service pages and an enquiry path that works from the roadside change how many existing visitors contact you. Measurable from the week the site goes live, before new traffic arrives.

04

Your reputation is managed rather than watched

Reviews arriving steadily and answered properly, because in automotive they are read as evidence of honesty. This is reported as carefully as rankings, since it moves both trust and visibility.

Get a market snapshot for your business

Before any talk of scope or price, we will pull what drivers in your city search for, repair by repair or model by model, roughly how many of them there are each month, who currently holds those positions, and where the realistic gap is. Written up and sent to you. No charge.

Where we deliver

Automotive, in your market.

A workshop in Panama City serves local drivers plus an expat community that searches in English and pays for trust. A dealer in Medellín sells into one of the region's liveliest used-car markets, where buyers research hard before visiting. Campaigns are built for the market you actually operate in.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Should we really publish our prices?▾
Yes, at least as ranges for your common jobs. In an industry where customers expect to be overcharged, a published range does more for trust than anything else you could put on the page. The handful of customers you lose to a visible price were shopping on price alone and would have haggled you down anyway. The ones you win are comparing three workshops and choosing the one that felt straight with them.
Every car is different. How can we publish prices at all?▾
With ranges and an honest sentence about what moves the number: the model, the parts, what the inspection finds. Customers understand that a brake job on a pickup costs more than on a compact. What they do not accept is a business that will not say anything until the car is on the lift. A range plus an explanation reads as confidence. Silence reads as a trap.
Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Why invest in this?▾
Because word of mouth now passes through Google. Somebody recommends your workshop, and the next thing that person does is look you up. If they find an abandoned profile, two old reviews and no prices, the recommendation dies quietly and you never know it happened. The digital work protects the referrals you already earn as much as it produces new ones.
Our customers send photos on WhatsApp before deciding. Is that a problem?▾
It is an advantage, if you treat it as one. The photo enquiry is how this region asks for a quote, and the shop that answers first with a straight estimate usually gets the car. We make the button impossible to miss on every page, track the clicks so you can see which pages produce enquiries, and help you set expectations for how fast somebody replies. An unanswered WhatsApp is a job given away.
We are a dealership, not a workshop. Does any of this apply?▾
All of it, with the weights shifted. Your buyer researches for months, so current inventory with real photographs and answered financing questions matters more than map position. Your service department, on the other hand, is a local search business exactly like an independent workshop, and it is usually the most neglected part of a dealer's digital presence. We treat the two sides separately because your customers do.
How do we compete with the big chains and dealer networks?▾
Not by outspending them. Their websites are corporate templates that name no symptoms, publish no local prices and answer nothing at eleven at night. You win by being specifically local: pages for the repairs drivers in your city actually search, a profile with photographs of your real workshop, reviews answered by a named owner, and a faster straight answer on WhatsApp. Local beats corporate in this industry more often than in almost any other.
How long before I see results?▾
A properly configured Google Business Profile can change how often you appear within weeks, and for urgent repair terms the competition is often thinner than it looks. A site with published ranges and honest service pages changes conversion as soon as it is live. Search rankings take weeks to months depending on the repair and your city. Dealership purchase terms carry a longer cycle because the buyer does.

Aylin spent her career in marketing and in enterprise marketing software sales, working with major brands and companies throughout Latin America. She has sat across the table from marketing directors defending a budget and reporting results upward, which means she already knows what a plan has to look like before anyone can say yes to it.

That is why a first conversation with her feels closer to a diagnosis than a pitch. She will want to know which jobs you want more of, where your customers find you today, and what you have already tried. Then she will tell you which of the five services would change things fastest, including when the answer is that you do not need all of them.

She works in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer, and inside your business hours. She handles your account herself from that first message through to the monthly reviews, so nobody hands you to a junior once the contract is signed.
