Digital Marketing for
Transport and Logistics

Nobody in this industry contacts one company. They send the same request to three and hire whichever one comes back first with a quote that makes sense. Everything on your website either shortens that reply or gets in its way.

Your reality

How shippers actually choose a carrier.

Logistics is a quote race. Almost everything that decides the outcome happens in the first few hours after somebody fills in a form.

01

The request goes to three companies at once

A family moving apartments and a company shipping monthly both do the same thing: open three tabs, send the same details to all three, and wait. The one that replies first with a number and a clear explanation usually wins, even at a slightly higher price. This is why response time is not a customer service detail in your industry, it is the whole competition.

02

They search the route, not the service

People do not type logística integral or soluciones de transporte. They type mudanzas de Panamá a Colombia, envío de carga a Miami, transporte de contenedores desde el puerto, or courier a Estados Unidos precio. Pages built around corporate service categories miss all of it. Pages built around real routes and real cargo types are what get found.

03

They are handing over things they cannot replace

A household of possessions, a container of inventory, a shipment a client is waiting on. Before anyone trusts you with that, they look for proof you are a real operation: licences and permits, insurance cover stated plainly, photographs of your own trucks and warehouse, how long you have been running. Most competitor sites in the region show none of it, which makes it cheap for you to be the credible one.

04

Two customers who share nothing but your phone number

The household move is emotional, price sensitive and happens once. The corporate account is a procurement decision with contracts, credit terms and a long evaluation. They need different pages, different words and different proof, and most companies in this industry serve both from one page written for neither.

What goes wrong

The four mistakes we see most in transport and logistics.

Every one of these adds hours to your reply, and hours are what you are competing on.

01

A contact form that asks for nothing

Name, email, message. Then somebody on your team has to write back asking where it is going, what the volume is, when it needs to move and whether there is a lift. That exchange costs a day, and a day is usually the whole race. A form that captures origin, destination, cargo type, volume and dates lets you answer with a number on the first reply.

02

Nothing that proves you are legitimate

No permits, no insurance detail, no fleet, no address, stock photographs of trucks that are not yours. Somebody about to hand over a container or a house full of furniture is looking for reasons to believe you exist. Registration numbers, real photographs and a stated insurance position are the cheapest credibility available to you and almost nobody publishes them.

03

One page covering every service you offer

Mudanzas, carga internacional, courier, almacenaje and transporte de personal in a single list ranks for none of them and speaks to nobody. The person moving a family and the operations manager shipping pallets have nothing in common. Each service you actually want more of needs its own page, written for that buyer and naming their route.

04

Enquiries arriving where nobody is watching

A form that emails an address checked twice a week, or a WhatsApp on somebody's personal phone who is out on a route. In an industry decided by whoever answers first, this quietly hands work to competitors every week. Before any campaign runs, we check that the enquiries you already receive are reaching a person.

What we would start with

For a transport company, in this order.

This is the one industry on this site where we usually start with paid, because the demand already exists, the search terms are unambiguous and the job is to be in the quote race from week one rather than in six months.

1 · Google Ads

Somebody searching mudanzas or envío de carga has a date and a load already. The term set is small and the intent is not in doubt, so a tightly built campaign on your real routes puts you in the comparison from the first week, while everything else is still accumulating. Measured by cost per quote request, not clicks, and paused on routes where the numbers do not work.

How we run ads →

2 · Diseño Web

A quote form that collects everything you need to answer with a number, separate pages for the household customer and the corporate account, and your permits, insurance and real fleet photographs where a nervous buyer will see them. Ads without this are a fast way to buy clicks that go nowhere.

How we build sites →

3 · SEO

A page for each route and cargo type you want more of, which is slower than ads and considerably cheaper once it holds. Local search matters for the depot and for last mile work, and less for international freight, where the buyer is not choosing by proximity. We build in the order your revenue actually comes in.

How we do SEO →

4 · Redes Sociales

Lowest priority here, and for corporate freight it means LinkedIn rather than posting. Buyers evaluating a carrier look you up to confirm there are real people behind the name. A current company page and a visible operations lead do that job. For household moving, occasional local content has some value, and we will tell you if it does not.

Worth moving on early

AEO · being the answer when somebody asks

People now ask an assistant before they open three tabs: which company moves furniture between these two countries, roughly what a container costs on this route, who handles customs on the way in. The reply names two or three carriers and the shortlist is set before you were ever contacted.

Being named means your routes, your services and your credentials are structured so an assistant can read and cite them. In an industry where the buyer wants a recommendation rather than a list of options, this matters more than it looks.

What changes

What working looks like for you.

These are the things we report on, because they are the things we control. We do not promise a number of loads or signed contracts, and you should be wary of anybody who does.

01

Quote requests are counted, not guessed

Form submissions, WhatsApp clicks and calls, tracked by route and by service, so you can see whether the ads are producing corporate enquiries or household moves. This is the number that runs the whole account.

02

You know what a quote request costs you

Cost per enquiry by campaign and by route, reported every month. When a route stops making sense at the price the auction is asking, we say so and move the budget rather than defending the spend.

03

More of your visitors get in touch

A quote form that asks the right questions, visible credentials and separate pages for your two kinds of customer change how many existing visitors contact you. Measurable from the week the site goes live, before any new traffic arrives.

04

You appear for the routes you want

Rankings by route and cargo type rather than one figure for the company. That tells you whether international freight is climbing while local moving sits still, and where the next page should go.

Get a market snapshot for your company

Before any talk of scope or price, we will pull what shippers in your market search for, route by route and service by service, roughly how many of them there are each month, who currently holds those positions, and what a quote request would cost you in paid search. Written up and sent to you. No charge.

Where we deliver

Transport and logistics, in your market.

A company in Panama City works around the canal, the free zone and a constant flow of people arriving and leaving, which makes both international freight and household moving unusually strong. A company in Medellín moves goods through a mountain corridor where road logistics and last mile delivery are the daily problem. Campaigns are built for the routes you actually run.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

We cannot publish prices. Every load is different.▾
Agreed, and we would not ask you to. What replaces a price here is a quote form that captures enough to answer properly, plus a stated turnaround: same day, or within a set number of hours. Buyers in this industry are not expecting a number on the website. They are expecting to know how fast one arrives, and almost nobody tells them.
Why start with Google Ads instead of SEO?▾
Because your demand already exists and the terms are unambiguous. Somebody searching for a mover or a freight forwarder has a date and a load, and they will hire somebody this month. Ads put you in that comparison from the first week while route pages are still building. SEO carries the account long term and costs far less per enquiry once it holds, which is why it comes second rather than not at all.
We work with companies, not consumers. Does this still apply?▾
Yes, with different weights. Corporate freight has fewer searches at much higher value, longer evaluation and a buyer who will read everything before contacting you. That means credentials, case detail and a serious LinkedIn presence matter more, and the ad budget goes on a narrower term set. We would build the corporate side and the consumer side as separate paths rather than blending them.
Our business is seasonal. Can spending follow that?▾
It should. Moving peaks around school terms and year end, courier volume rises before holidays, freight follows import cycles. Ads can be pushed hard in your peak and pulled back out of it, which is another reason paid comes first in this vertical. We look at when your enquiries actually arrive rather than assuming a pattern.
Do we need a page for every route we serve?▾
No, and building hundreds of thin route pages is a well known way to get a site ignored. We build pages for the routes with real search volume and real margin for you, usually a handful to start, each with genuine detail about that corridor, the paperwork and the timings. Then we add more based on what the first ones do.
How do we compete with the international freight brands?▾
Not on their terms, and you do not have to. Their sites are global templates that answer nothing about your corridor, quote through a portal and reply slowly. You win on speed of response, on knowing the local customs process, and on being reachable by a named person. Those are things a large network genuinely struggles to match, and they are all visible on a website.
How long before I see results?▾
A properly built Google Ads campaign produces quote requests in the first weeks, which is the reason it goes first here. A quote form that asks the right questions changes conversion as soon as it is live. Search rankings on route and service pages take weeks to months. Corporate accounts then carry their own evaluation period on top of that, sometimes a long one.
Who would I actually be working with?▾
Aylin Benítez, directly, from the first conversation through to the monthly reviews. She responds personally in 2 business days or less and works in Spanish or English. Delivery is handled by the specialist teams behind Media Saga, so you are not passed to a junior once the contract is signed.

Aylin spent her career in marketing and in enterprise marketing software sales, working with major brands and companies throughout Latin America. She has sat across the table from marketing directors defending a budget and reporting results upward, which means she already knows what a plan has to look like before anyone can say yes to it.

That is why a first conversation with her feels closer to a diagnosis than a pitch. She will want to know which routes and services you want more of, where your enquiries come from today, and what you have already tried. Then she will tell you which of the five services would change things fastest, including when the answer is that you do not need all of them.

She works in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer, and inside your business hours. She handles your account herself from that first message through to the monthly reviews, so nobody hands you to a junior once the contract is signed.
