Digital Marketing Agency
in the Dominican Republic
A great deal of your market is not in the country. Visitors deciding months ahead, Dominicans abroad arranging things for family at home, buyers looking at property from another time zone. Local search numbers never show you that half.
The market
Four things about the Dominican Republic that will affect your results.
This is a market where the obvious numbers mislead, and where the businesses that understood that are still very few.
Your customers are searching from somewhere else
The visitor choosing between Punta Cana and three other destinations, months before booking. The family in New York or Madrid arranging something back home. The buyer looking at an apartment from another time zone. Almost none of that appears in a search volume figure for the Dominican Republic, and almost none of it is being competed for by businesses here.
The international brands are not competing on the same ground as you
The resorts and the booking platforms dominate the broad terms and they are not worth fighting for. What they do badly is anything specific: the neighbourhood, the smaller experience, the traveller who does not want an all inclusive, the question nobody answered. Those searches are smaller, far cheaper to reach, and they bring people who already know what they want.
Every booking through a platform costs you the customer as well as the commission
Platforms bring volume that a small operator could not reach alone, and they keep the guest relationship along with a percentage of every stay. Most travellers look a business up by name after finding it on a platform, and what they find at that moment decides whether the next booking comes direct. That page is usually the cheapest thing on this list to fix.
Whoever answers first usually gets the work
Enquiries reach you through WhatsApp, a phone call and your website form, and from abroad usually by form or email. Buyers commonly contact several businesses in one sitting and go with whoever replies first. When some of those messages arrive from a time zone behind yours, a stated response time does more work than most people expect.
What you get
What working with us is actually like.
There is no shortage of people offering to run your social media here. What is harder to find is somebody who will show you the reasoning behind what they are charging you for.
You get answers the same day, not the next one
We work in your time zone and your business hours. When a campaign needs a decision or something breaks, you are talking to a person that afternoon rather than waiting overnight for a reply from a different continent. It sounds like a small thing until the week you need something changed before a weekend.
We research the countries your customers search from
For a lot of Dominican businesses the useful research is not the Dominican database at all. It is what people in the United States, Spain, Canada or Puerto Rico type when they are looking for what you offer here. That is a different set of words and a different level of competition, and it is the number we would bring you rather than a flattering local figure.
We will tell you when the answer is small
Some businesses here need a proper site, a working Google profile and a way to be found by name, and nothing else for a while. If that is your situation we will say so rather than propose a monthly retainer, because a modest piece of work that fixes the actual problem is worth more to you than a large one that does not.
You can check every number we report
Each month you see where you rank and for which terms, how much search traffic reached your site, and how many enquiries came in and what each one cost. Those are figures you can verify in your own accounts rather than take on trust. We do not put a revenue projection in a proposal, because your pricing and your sales process are yours, and a number that depends on them is not ours to promise.
Services in the Dominican Republic
What each service does for a Dominican business.
Five services that work together rather than five line items on an invoice. Most businesses start with one or two, and which ones make sense depends on where your customers are already looking for you.
Diseño Web
For most businesses here this comes first, because the site is what somebody finds after a platform, a recommendation or a search from abroad, and it is where a direct booking or enquiry either happens or does not. Fast on a phone, honest about what is included, and easy to contact from any page.
Posicionamiento Web · SEO
Being what people find when they search, including the people searching from other countries. For tourism that means the specific questions the platforms never answer. For local businesses it means the Google profile and the terms people in your city use. Positions here are cheap to take compared with almost anywhere in the region, and they keep working after you stop paying.
Redes Sociales
The country photographs well and Dominicans are among the most active social users anywhere, so this does real work here. It is where a visitor decides you look like the right place and where the message frequently arrives. We report reach, saves and messages rather than follower counts, because saves are how somebody builds a shortlist for a trip they have not booked yet.
Google Ads y Facebook Ads
Usually pointed at other countries rather than at the Dominican Republic, which changes both the targeting and the cost, and run in the months when your season is being booked rather than year round. Measured on cost per enquiry. Your budget goes into your own account and we charge a management fee only.
AEO · AI Answer Engine Optimization
Trip planning has moved into conversation quickly. People ask an assistant where to stay outside the resorts, which beach suits a family, whether a place is walkable, and the answer names specific businesses before any search results appear.
That matters here more than most places, because so much of the decision happens abroad and in advance, and because the resorts and platforms have no particular advantage in these answers. Being named means your information is structured so an assistant can read and cite it, in both languages.
Industries
We know your industry.
A guesthouse in Las Terrenas is chosen by a family six months before they fly. A dental clinic in Santo Domingo is compared against prices in three countries. A colmado or a hardware shop is found by somebody two streets away. Every industry has its own buyers, its own platforms and its own moment of decision, and yours is where we start.
Your area
What your part of the country means for your business.
We work with businesses anywhere in the Dominican Republic, and where you are shapes what we would do first. Find your area below. If yours is La Romana, Samaná, Jarabacoa or anywhere else, the same research applies to your market.
The oldest city in the Americas, and the busiest one here.
Santo Domingo holds the government, the banks, the clinics, the universities and most of the country's professional work, with the Zona Colonial in the middle of it. Your customers here are local and they buy all year rather than in season. Competition is more real than elsewhere in the country, and by regional standards it is still modest enough that doing this properly separates you quickly.
The airport the Caribbean arrives through.
Punta Cana brings millions of visitors a year and most of them decide months ahead, from another country, comparing you against destinations rather than against the business next door. The resorts own the broad searches. What is available, and largely unclaimed, is everything specific: the excursion, the restaurant, the villa, the traveller who wants something other than an all inclusive.
The Cibao valley, tobacco, and a city that works.
Santiago de los Caballeros is the country's industrial and agricultural centre, with free zones, manufacturing and a business community that mostly knows each other. Very little serious digital work has been done here by anyone, and the buyers are local and year round rather than seasonal, which makes it one of the more straightforward markets in the country to build in.
Amber coast, kite surf and a long expatriate history.
The north coast has been receiving visitors and foreign residents for decades, from Cabarete to Sosúa to Las Terrenas along the peninsula. That gives you two audiences: people planning a trip from abroad and a resident community that lives here and frequently searches in English. Both are reachable and neither is well served by what is currently online.

Who you deal with
You will be working with Aylin.
Aylin spent her career in marketing and in enterprise marketing software sales, working with major brands and companies throughout Latin America. She has sat across the table from marketing directors defending a budget and reporting results upward, which means she already knows what a plan has to look like before anyone can say yes to it.
That is why a first conversation with her feels closer to a diagnosis than a pitch. She will want to know what you sell, where your customers find you today, and what you have already tried. Then she will tell you which of the five services would change things fastest for your business, including when the answer is that you do not need all of them.
She works in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer, and inside your business hours. In a country where a good share of your customers are reading in English from abroad, that is more than a convenience. She handles your account herself from that first message through to the monthly reviews.
Start with the research, not the sales call.
Tell us what you sell and where in the country you sell it. You will get back a snapshot of what your customers are searching for, including from wherever they are searching, who currently ranks for it, and what it would realistically take to get you there.
